To Take A Chance On You…

It takes courage and faith to take a chance on yourself.
Your depth,
Your feelings,
Your insecurities.
But taking that chance is a beautiful opportunity for healing and building a relationship with your self. One where you can find love,
for who you are,
who you have been,
and who you are becoming.

Practice…
It takes practice.
Let us take a chance on practising to build habits, mentally and physically, that are simply the practice of feeding your self, the good fuel for the vehicle that is you.
Thoughts are fuel.
And hey, the bad fuel you can acknowledge. It’s there, but you don’t have to buy it.
This type of fuel is expensive and will render you broke, not financially.
But it will have an adverse effect on your vehicle that will ultimately damage it.

Good fuel is actually less expensive, but maybe you have to fill up your tank a little more often. Now that might sound like an effort, an extra trip, but the good thing about this is that you get to visit the good fuel more often, meaning you’re feeding your self with good stuff more frequently; how could that be bad?

For some reason, we have normalised and accepted this bad fuel so easily, paying the high price at the cost of ourselves so willingly.
Negative self-talk, often resulting in external negative talk about the world and all that is in it.
But positive self-talk.
YUK!
We don’t want to hear that. It’s corny and weird to look yourself in the mirror and say “I LOVE YOU, YOU GOT THIS”, and why?
Maybe we just have to exercise that muscle a little more, stop making those expensive trips to the bad fuel that destroys us and instead make more trips to the good fuel that gives us life.

I don’t know, I’m just here working my way through life through new eyes since my conception, no real answer to what this is or why, and that’s ok.
But I’d like to invite you to take a chance on yourself and, in turn, who knows…
Maybe the more we find it within ourselves, the more we will see it a little clearer in others.
